Selfmaid is a cleaning company that has provided an easy way to book. Friendly customer service that will do their best to provide best customer service possible.

Is Selfmaid insured and bonded?

Yes, we are fully insured and bonded. Professionals are screened and undergo a background check.

What if something gets broken?

You can contact Selfmaid directly or You will be contacted by Selfmaid representative at earliest convenience to discus the even and find best option to fix or possibly replace broken item.

Is Selfmaid pet friendly?

Yes, we are! Pets are our best friends. However, if your pet needs special attention while we are cleaning, please make temporary arrangements for the time of service.


Where do I start?

How do I set up my account with Selfmaid

Your account is automatically created after your first booking online. Simply set up your account, choose your password and voila, you’re ready to go.

How do I book my first appointment

Its easy. Just click the BOOK NOW button and schedule your appointment online. We will ask you few personal information. Once booked you will receive email confirmation. You can also schedule your cleaning service via phone 718-685-2138

What if I need to make changes to my booking?

Log in to your account and make all changes to your booking. Alternatively, you can give us a call.

Residential Cleaning

Does someone need to be present?

Whether or not you are at the space during your cleaning appointment is up to you. While booking please specify your entry instructions, if you have a doorman, nanny, visitors, there’s no need for you to be home. Or, feel free to stick around during the clean. Whatever you are most comfortable with is fine.

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?

Selfmaid provides all necessary eco-friendly cleaning supplies and almost all necessary materials required to clean your apartment. If you have any specialty products you would like us to use we will be more than happy to do so. Please leave all necessary instructions when booking your service.

We do not provide:

  • Vacuum
  • Conventional bucket and a mop
  • Toilet brush
  • Cleaning solutions
    • heavy duty bathroom cleaner
    • heavy duty oven cleaner
    • bleach
    • wood cleaner
    • stainless steel cleaner

What if I do not have vacuum, bucket and a mop?

Selfmaid can provide all above under additional charge.

Can I leave special instructions for the cleaners and ask for additional services?

Yes, you can ask for additional services at any time. We will contact you for a price change if applies.
After service is complete, you can rate Selfmaid experience and provide feedback.

What if I had renovation work done?

Please choose post construction cleaning service form residential cleaning service options or call 718-685-2138 to schedule your appointment.

What does Selfmaid doesn't do?

We do not clean apartments with invasion of insects (roaches, rats, etc.), biohazards, asbestos.

We do not move heavy object, furniture, etc.

We do not clean up/throw away heavy post construction or after move items.



Office Cleaning

Why get your office cleaned?

Same as you home, your office should be clean and free of dust and bacteria’s. As surrounded by toxins daily, we can help you limit contact with toxins while at home and your office

Do you clean during or after business hours?

Your wish is our command. We clean during both. Our cleaning staff is able to clean day and night, depending on your preference.

Does Selfmaid bring its own supplies and equipment for Commercial Spaces?

We will provide all necessary supplies and equipment if you select ongoing service.

Billing & Pricing

How do I pay for services?

Payment is due immediately by credit card

When does my card get charged?

Your card on file will be charged on the same day of your service

How do I update my billing information?

Simply log into your account and edit your billing information in the “settings” section of the website

What is your cancellation policy?

We assess a $60 cancellation fee for appointments not cancelled within 24hour prior to the appointment with exception to post construction and apartment TURN cleans. For specialty cleans (including but not limited to post-construction) a cancellation fee amounting to 50% of the price quoted will be applied to appointments not cancelled by 4PM EST the day before the appointment.

What is your 100% Satisfaction Guarantee?

We provide exceptional services every time. However, if you’re not satisfied contact us within 24 hours after your service is complete and we will send cleaning person to re-touch missed areas. The re-clean appointment must be scheduled and completed within 72 hours of service. Please contact us at or by phone 718-685-2138 and let us know where we fell short.

How to request a re-clean?

Customers can request a re-clean by email ( or by phone (718-685-2138) – as long as the appointment was completed within past 24 hours.

Trust / Safety

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

Yes, our credit card transactions are processed by Stripe and is layered on their own 256 bit security protocol. In addition, no credit card numbers are stored in our system (only a token that allows us to charge the card).


Do you offer Gift Cards?

Yes, you can purchase one on our gift cards page.

Do I leave a tip?

Tips are very appreciated by cleaners. You can either leave the tip for maid in the apartment or add it seamlessly to your booking. Your maids keep 100% of their tips.
